"Copnor Lofts did our loft conversion at the end of last year and I would 100% recommend them if you're considering the same job. We heard of them via a friend who had theirs done and they've done a great job on both.

When we first had Mark come over to see if it'd be possible to have it done, we were only thinking about an extra bedroom, but they've managed to get us two extra bedrooms, one of which is an en suite, so way beyond what we thought we could do.

Probably the number 1 thing about this company, aside from the fact that they've done a really good job on the loft itself, is that they are all really good guys. I think the job went on for 10 weeks or so, but it was no bother having them around, they were all really friendly and left the place tidy and safe at the end of every day.

On top of all of that, we've heard comments from both the architects and the buildings inspector saying that these guys are the best in the business and they never get any issues with their builds. Also amusing to hear the building inspector complain that he didn't know how they got so much height in the ceilings, just as Mark said they would!"

"Where do I start to start writing a brilliant review about Copnor Loft Conversions. Well I suppose at the very beginning. Having had to cancel a special holiday and birthday celebrations because of Covid I decided to spend the money on converting my loft into a bedroom and en suite. I contacted three firms who were all loft conversion specialists and were all very helpful. Mark was the one I felt that I related to the most and as a lady on my own it is very important that I can trust people who are doing work and coming into my house. I wanted it to be done in time for Christmas and to begin with Mark wasn’t sure if he would be able to do it. But true to his word on the day he promised to let me know, the answer was a yes and I was absolutely delighted.

The work started, as planned, in September and has generally been without incidence, apart from some very distant neighbours causing difficulties. Mark dealt with all of these and reassured me throughout, what could have been a very stressful time. Knowing I was in the hands of such a reputable company and that everything had been done totally by the book was an added bonus.

All of the workforce have been fantastic. Nothing has been too much trouble and I have enjoyed meeting them all and getting to know them. The way they work is that there are various teams that come in do their part of the work and then move on. I felt quite sad every time a team left but they were always replaced by more lovely people.

The standard of workmanship is superb and every member is hardworking and an expert in their field. I particularly like that they have apprentices in the teams and so are passing on their skills to the next generation.

My loft is finished, as promised, in time for Christmas. I am absolutely delighted with it and it has surpassed my expectation with design, size and finish. The only downside is that I will miss all the lovely people I have got to know over the last 10 weeks!
